Providence Administrative Assistant - Surgery in Centralia, Washington
Providence is calling a Administrative Assistant (0.5 FTE, 20 hours per week Variable Shift) to the Surgery Department at Providence Centralia Hospital in Centralia, WA.

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for clerical and secretarial support for the Director and Managers, as requested, and performs clerical support for managers and supervisors as well as other support staff reporting to manager. Provides reception and telephone support for the Administration office.
In this position you will:
Utilizes good organizational skills.
Prioritizes work to promote efficient flow for all services and timely completion of assignments.
Requires minimal direction.
Demonstrates proficiency in the use of MS Word, Word for Windows, Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to use standard office equipment.
Is responsible for maintaining and coordinating the appointment calendar for the Assistant Administrators, or Administrator, as requested
Coordinates and performs communication and scheduling tasks which includes scheduling attendees, making confirmations, scheduling rooms and services, etc.
Contributes to a smooth functioning department.
Promotes cooperation, mutual respect and support between all persons and/or groups with whom Administration interacts
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School Diploma or GED
Five (5) years administrative secretarial experience.
One (1) year Hospital or health care setting.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Coursework/Training - Post high school education in secretarial-related classes.
