Providence Health & Services Administrative Supervisor - Nursing Supervision in Centralia, Washington
Providence is calling an Administrative Supervisor (0.6 FTE, Variable Shift) to work in Nursing Supervision at Providence Centralia Hospital in Centralia , WA.
The Administrative Supervisors provide nursing service administration on evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts ensuring comprehensive nursing services and quality patient care. The Administrative Supervisor acts as a representative of administration and coordinates hospital and departmental activities on an assigned shift.
In this position you will:
Place patients to be admitted / transferred appropriately, considering disease entity / diagnosis, nursing needs, staffing requirements and patient / physician requests.
Support Quality management, Infection Control, and risk management by providing direction, information and/or suggestions in relevant matters
Attend monthly Department Manager, monthly Nursing Leadership and quarterly Patient Care Manager and Leadership Development Institute (LDI) meetings to obtain information necessary to support management decisions/programs.
Interpret and enforce hospital policy and procedure.
Round on nursing units and ancillary service departments each shift.
Graduate of an NLN accredited registered nurse program
Washington State licensure as a Registered Nurse with annual renewal
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN)
5 years acute care professional experience (within the last seven years) with one year being in entry level management or supervision
