Providence Health & Services Clinic Operations Supervisor - Womens Health in Centralia, Washington
Providence is calling a Supervisor (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to the PMG Women's Health Services Olympia in Centralia, WA.
We are seeking a Clinic Operations Supervisor to oversight of day to day clinic operations supporting efficient patient care. This position supports the work of the clinic manager and medical director in improving patient satisfaction, complaint resolution, and clinic performance in meeting organizational and regional goals.
In this position you will:
Communicates and shares information in order to: administer and monitor services, including patient services, clinic phone communications, records filing and distribution, and scheduling and referral activities; assures high physician, staff, and patient satisfaction by managing physician schedules and assuring open lines of communication between staff, medical providers and patients; keeps abreast of insurance and prior authorization requirements and educates staff and physicians regarding changes. Apprises staff of new or modified policies and procedures.
Supervises, trains, and evaluates non-clinical staff. Determines staffing patterns and schedules and assures that staff are adequately trained to manage high volume reception areas and multiple phone lines to minimize patient wait times. Prepares and delivers timely performance appraisals for staff within assigned clinic(s) in conjunction with Clinic Manager.
Responsible for staff recruitment, on-boarding and retention through collaboration with Clinic Manager, clinic staff and human resources.
Coaches and counsels staff. Coaches and counsels staff performance, work habits and behaviors according to Human Resource policies and procedures. Ensures that the clinic administrator remains informed of staff issues.f performance, work habits and behaviors according to Human Resource policies and procedures.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Business College or office management training or equivalent
Progressively responsible experience in a medical office or a combination of relevant education and directly related work experience
Previous experience managing staff
Experience, education or training in medical records management and regulations, to include HIPAA
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Associate's Degree in Medical Office or Business Administration, or other relevant field
Bachelor's Degree in Medical Office or Business Administration, or other relevant field
