Providence Health & Services Medical Staff Credentials and Data Coordinator in Centralia, Washington
Providence is looking for a Medical Staff Credentials and Data Coordinator (0.8 FTE, Days) to work in Medical Staff Services at Providence Centralia Hospital in Centralia, WA.
The Medical Staff Credentials and Data Coordinator is responsible for providing Medical Staff Services, Quality Services, Accreditation and other internal customers with data necessary to track and manage the ongoing and focused professional practice evaluation processes of medical staff privileged practitioners at Providence Centralia Hospital.
In this position:
Coordinate all professional staff activities related to credentialing, initial appointments and reappointments, and privileging under the direction of the Supervisor, Medical Staff Credentialing.
Perform specialized duties in support of the administrative operation of the medical staff office such as: supporting medical staff committees, drafting correspondence, and planning events.
Act as a liaison to Medical Staff, Nursing, Quality Management, and Administration.
Develop good working relationships with Providence St. Peter Hospital Medical Staff Office and the Credentials Verification Office.
Required qualifications for this position include:
AA degree (Work experience may substitute for education.)
Minimum of two years’ experience with verified graduated duties and responsibilities associated with medical staff credentialing and privileging responsibilities or executive administrative support.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and credentialing software programs.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree in business, information management or other data management related field.
Experience with Morrisey credentialing software, Crystal, Access, InfoView for Clinical Activity Reporting.
Experience with ongoing professional practice evaluation and focused professional practice evaluation data.
CPMSM or CPCS preferred
