Providence Health & Services OB Technician - Family Birthing Center in Centralia, Washington
Providence is calling an OB Technician (Per Diem, 12 Hour Variable Shift) to Providence Centralia Hospital in Centralia, WA.
We are seeking an experienced individual to provide direct patient care to obstetrical patients.
In this position you will:
Provide safe, efficient scrubbing technique for Cesarean Sections with or without fallopian tube legation, dilation and/or curettage of the uterus and assist Scrub with emergency Hysterectomy.
Facilitate the availability of supplies and properly maintained equipment and Instruments for surgical cases.
Insure a sterile field is set up and maintained throughout each surgical case by implementation of Aseptic Technique and Body Substance Isolation (BSI).
Provide safe care to patient and safe environment for personnel in the OR Suite.
Required qualifications for this position include :
Completion of a Licensed Practical Nurse Program or Completion of a Surgical Technology Program and current CNA
One (1) year of OB scrub tech or LPN experience
Registered Surgical Technician with WA State Department of Health, AHA-BLS and CNA Certification or WA State Licensed Practical Nurse and AHA-BLS
Preferred qualifications for this position include :
Three (3) years of OB scrub tech experience or three years’ experience as LPN
