Providence Occupational Therapist in Centralia, Washington
Description:
Providence is calling an Occupational Therapist (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to Providence Centralia Hospital in Centralia, WA.
To provide Occupational Therapy Services to patients including assessment, treatment planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication.
In this position you will:
Knowledge/Application of Occupational Therapy. Standards.
Demonstrates knowledge of evaluation/treatment techniques and equipment
Makes accurate decisions (goals) after considering pertinent information
Monitors patient’s responses to intervention and modifies treatment to attain goals
Assists with creating and implementing new policies/procedures and departmental objectives/goals
Meets deadlines and completes tasks without prompting; demonstrates acceptable planning and organizational ability
Seeks out information from others when knowledge or skill level is felt to be lacking.
This position has regular and recurrent direct clinical contact with Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, and Geriatrics
Qualifications:
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Current Washington Occupational Therapist License.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS).
Clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist in acute care, rehab, skilled nursing, and/or outpatient.
Experience in geriatrics.
