Providence is calling a Pediatric Physical Therapist (1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week Day Shift) to work in Physical Therapy at Providence Centralia Hospital in Centralia at Centralia, Washington.

The physical therapist will work treating primarily Pediatric patients but will cover on inpatient all types of patients including the CVA's, post orthopedic surgery, general medical and outpatients. S/he needs to be able to function well independently as well as part of a team, which not only includes other physical therapy staff, but physicians, nurses and social workers. Interest and willingness in participating in project improvement and development is an important part of this position.
In this position you will:
Render or supervise treatment prescribed in writing by attending physician
Demonstrates effective supervisory skills.
Responsible for ensuring continual improvement in billable productivity.
Demonstrates effective communication skills.
Knows, understands and follows all hospital policies and procedures.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree and a Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
Clinical experience in treatment of a variety of patients, performance of exercise programs, transfer training and gait training for orthopedically and neurologically involved patients in acute care and/or outpatient.
Washington State Physical Therapy License.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Wound care experience beneficial
