Providence Registrar in Centralia, Washington
Providence is calling a Registrar (Per Diem, Variable Shift) to Providence Centralia Hospital in Centralia, WA.
We are seeking a Registrar to be responsible for the collection of demographic information to ensure accuracy for billing purposes. Provide general support to patients, families, and visitors. Assist all departments with any patient access needs.

Routinely reviews department policies for process accuracy.
Communicates with Supervisor/Manager on pertinent issues.
Works cohesively with all departments.
Maintains a clean, stocked department.
Answer telephones promptly.
Process ambulance demographic requests.
Process room scheduling requests.
Complete COA Audit weekly.
Follows paging guidelines
Reception desk Responsibilities:
Perform quick registration all emergency room patients.
Notify Emergency room of patient arrivals.
Direct/track all patients.
Assist with patient check in as needed.
Complete QA reports daily.
Maintains radio communication with security.
Monitors alarm panels for alerts.
Complete all registrations timely.
Verify patient demographics & insurance.
Scan all required documents, i.e. picture ID, insurance cards, HIPAA.
Uses electronic tools as needed.
Compiles hospital call schedule daily.
Complete QA reports daily.
Provide relief for breaks.
Obtain demographics from physician offices for accuracy.
Document missing information for later collection.
Print/deliver required forms for accounts.
Required qualifications for this position include:
2 years of experience recent customer service.
1 year of clerical experience.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
H.S. Diploma or GED
